Matthew A. McCalip

Matt McCalip is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Dallas office. He is also a member of the firm’s M&A, Private Equity and Healthcare teams. As an active member of these industry teams, Matt enjoys a wide-ranging practice that spans across several sectors.

Areas of Practice

Matt focuses his practice on asset and stock acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships, and growth equity investments, and also regularly provides daily counseling to clients with respect to corporate formation, contracting and general governance matters. He represents public and private companies across the country in buy-side and sell-side transactions both large and small and at all stages of development, ranging from early-stage companies in their infancy to multinational corporations that include cross-border components.

Matt is particularly experienced in advising clients and executing deals in the healthcare, private equity, software and technology, manufacturing, personal services, retail and entertainment/media industries, among others.
