Sheppard Mullin Advised Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in the Formation of Mosaic Health, a New National Primary Care Platform
Sheppard Mullin’s Healthcare team served as regulatory counsel to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) on the recent formation of Mosaic Health, a national care delivery platform that brings together CD&R portfolio companies, apree health and Millennium Physician Group. This formation expands access to advanced primary care for consumers with coverage across Commercial, Individual Exchange, Medicaid and Medicare health plans. Mosaic Health was formed as a result of the previously announced strategic partnership between Elevance Health and CD&R. Mosaic Health plans to add the Advanced Primary Care solution of Elevance Health's Carelon Health to its platform, subject to regulatory approvals.
The formation of Mosaic Health represents a strategic effort to integrate leading healthcare providers under one umbrella, leveraging technology and innovative care models to improve patient outcomes. This initiative is expected to set new standards in the delivery of primary healthcare services, reflecting Clayton, Dubilier & Rice's commitment to investing in and growing innovative healthcare companies that increase access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.
