Robert Green is a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's Houston office.
Areas of Practice
Rob specializes in complex litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property, business torts, and breach of contract actions. Rob has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of business areas, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications.
Rob has considerable pre-trial and trial experience in courts throughout the country, including the Eastern District of Texas, where he clerked after law school. His experience includes all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and appeal. Rob focuses on mastering the facts of any case to help his client achieve success. At his most recent trial, he examined his client’s technical expert and cross examined the opposing sides technical fact witness, helping to secure a jury verdict of infringement and maximum damages for the client in a complex patent case.
Rob also has a strong commitment to pro bono legal services. He has helped domestic violence victims obtain asylum in the United States, aided a non-profit refugee center in securing a trademark, and represented geriatric prisoners seeking proper COVID-19 protections.
